Three terms a year, following Aldermoor school terms. Nobody is turned away for cost: bursaries cover the full fee and travel, and you only have to ask the box office — there is no form and no means test.
How to join
- One — ring or email the box office and say which age group. We will tell you honestly whether there is a place or a waiting list.
- Two — come to a free taster session. No audition, ever. Nobody has to perform on their first day.
- Three — if it suits, we enrol you for the term and send a kit list that is really just comfortable clothes and a water bottle.
- Access — sessions are step-free, and we plan support with you before the first week. Tell us what helps.
Kestrel Young Company
Every July the Young Company takes the mainstage for a week with a piece they have devised and rehearsed across the year, on the same set-build, lighting rig and get-in schedule as the professional company.
Families, teachers and anyone curious about what a hundred teenagers can do with a producing house are all welcome.
Suitable for ages 8+, and for anyone who likes a full house. Confirmed in June once the piece is devised. Always published before tickets go on sale.
