The play
It is the last warm week of September and the Ferris family are clearing out a house they have all outgrown. Ellen has come back after eleven years away. Her nephew Ade has decided the only thing worth saving is a paper boat found folded inside a cookbook.
Over one long weekend of boxes, borrowed chairs and burnt toast, a family works out what it is willing to carry forward. Written for the Kestrel and made in our own rehearsal room upstairs.
